How do I host a private paint party?

Scheduling
Reach out to Jasper Paint Parties to schedule your date and time.
You will need a 3-4 hour window of time.  Classes are approximately two hours in length, plus time to set up in advance and clean up afterward.
Best availability is evenings

How many people makes a party?
Minimum of 6 paid guests.
Maximum - depends on your space, but my cap is 20
Bonus!  As the host, after your first 6 paid guests, your seat is free.

Is there an age restriction?
The classes are appropriate for ages 10 and up, depending upon each individual's attention span.

What do you provide?
Canvas or card stock/envelope
Paint
Brushes/tools
Paper towels
Palettes
Table covering (for 6ft tables) x 2
Water cups
Instruction
Hair dryer (to speed up dry time)

Space
You provide the space where your party will be held.  Keep in mind the number of people you will be hosting and a spot for the instructor.
Good lighting is important
Seating - make sure your guests can see the instructor
Table and floor coverings.  If you are hosting in your home, ensure your furniture and floors are protected.  Acrylic paint is permanent once dry.
Sink/water source.  We will need access to a sink and water source for painting and clean up
Trash bin - to collect the used palettes (paper plates) and paper towels
TIP:  Painting is a messy business.  Tell your guests to wear old clothes.

Snacks and beverages
It is up to you if you will be providing snacks and beverages to your guests so that I can focus on providing the best painting experience possible.
If you are hosting your party at a local establishment, you or your guests may wish to purchase items.

What is the price?
Single public classes are $40 per person at the Habitat for the Arts - if it's just you, come join us on one of my upcoming dates.
With a minimum of 6 paid seats to make a party, pricing is $30 per person.

Sounds Great!  How do I book?
Once we confirm a good date/time and the number of attendees, I'll send you a simple agreement outlining the details.
50% deposit will be due upon booking and the balance on the morning of the party.
Payments may be made via Jasper Paint Parties website, e-transfer, cash or square.

What type of paint do you use?

We use acrylic paints which are water based, but permanent.

We supply everything you need to complete your masterpiece including paint, brushes, palette material, water vessels, paper towels, instruction and guidance.
