Shades of Summer

I've been leading classes at the Lodge for a couple of years now and we have great turnout with full or nearly full attendance each month! I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see the smiles at the end of the class when everyone steps back to admire their own work and each other's creations.

Classes in town are steady, summer visitors are booking and I've had a few small groups at the Jasper Community Habitat for the Arts run by Marianne Garrah.

May I have your attention please?

Can I just take a moment to appreciate all that Marianne does for our art community?! We're incredibly lucky to live in this magical place with a community that is so supportive of artists.

I quite enjoy the private events booked by local groups and I have had increasing inquiries for team building and group events. I'm looking forward to new creations and welcome your ideas for future classes.

I'm pretty flexible - I like to come prepared, but I've had to wing it a couple of times when the request was something that I hadn't pre-painted - working from a photo or a cell phone image. I have to say those ones produced some of the best results!

AWOL

It's been a bit since I've posted updates and added classes to the schedule.

I had to step back to navigate the need for some dietary changes and learning how to change my habits to become gluten free since my body slammed the door and in no uncertain terms said - no more gluten for you!

Stella is grooving again

I think I found my groove and am looking at dates for offering local classes amidst the hustle and bustle of our summer season.

Stay tuned for updates!
